My boys(yes, Chris too)LOVE K'nex. They are particularly fond of the amusement park collection which have been going on sale pretty regularly at the big box stores for $10-15 lately.

ESV Children's Bible
Ian actually received this Bible for Christmas a couple years ago, but I wanted to mention it because it's FABULOUS! It contains the full ESV literal translation just like mom and dad's plus 100s of full color photos, maps, a concordance and, the best part, oodles of helps in the back including the plan of salvation and tons of other great stuff. Then, there's the splurge.
We normally don't do big presents for Christmas because it serves only to draw our eyes away from the reason for the season. However, Audrey recently agreed to sell the Step2 kitchen she had outgrown if the proceeds went towards a dollhouse. She's had her eye on one at Target for a long time. I was thrilled to find a very similar one that is fully furnished at Sam's Club. She's going to love it!

Wow, those are great suggestions!! I am so terrible at finding gifts for our kids. I *usually* leave it up to my hubby. Tonight I was at church, though, and chatting with some older ladies about knitting (which I'm not very good at). One lady recommended the Klutz knitting book for Eden to learn how to knit. So I'm going to look it up. Eden seemed very interested. :)
