It was a wonderful relaxing weekend, but it is so good to be home again. We really didn't do anything overly exciting, we just were.
The weather was really cool, but the kids still wanted to go swimming. Thankfully the pool is heated, or there is no way I would have let them. I don't think it ever got over 70°. Brrrr!!!
We played a lot of card games. I stink at cards.
We sat around the fire. There's no better place for conversation than around a fire.
We ate too much of my grandma's delicious cooking.
Mostly, we simply enjoyed the company of my parents and grandparents and they enjoyed the antics of our kids. A fun time was had by all.
