We had a great time overall. The weather was gorgeous! The sleeping arrangements were less than ideal. I was on an air mattress on the floor. My body was very grateful to be back in my own comfy bed! The kids did more than their fair share of bickering, but all in all a fun time was had by all. It's always a shock to see how much the kids grow from one visit to the next. When Kels and the boys were home for the 4th of July, Parker still seemed like such a baby. Now he's a wonderfully adorable big boy who loves his auntie 'Torntey' so much. :) Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure. Most of them are from a day at Sylvan Lake ,which is in the Needles, only a half hour or so from the AF base.

Kelsey, myself and all our kids. Chris would have died had he seen the rock climbing his largely pregnant wife was doing. :)

Ian: "I'm George(Washington), take my picture!" Both kids really liked seeing "the heads" as Evan refers to them. He gets pretty put out if you tell him it's actually called Mt. Rushmore. lol!

Mom and dad. They're so cute. :)

My big guy Parker smiling at his auntie.

An experiment in weights and measures. We love home schooling. :)

Glad you had a good time and made it back safe and sound! I thought those pics looked like Sylvan Lake. We love it up there.
