"Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me-ee, happy birthday to me!!"We had a wonderful time celebrating Ellenie Grace's first birthday with friends and family. We are so blessed!
By way of record because umm.. I'm not the best at filling out baby books and updating scrapbooks...
~ At one year, Elle weighs 16lbs 14oz - up 11lbs 15oz since birth
~ Is 27.5" tall - 9" since birth
~ Is still up every couple of hours all.night.long, every.single.night
~ Loves to eat
~ Veggies are her favorite
~ Broccoli, carrots, celery, green peppers, onions
~ Is completely addicted to nursing and shows no signs of letting up
~ Has finally figured out how to drink out of a sippy cup
~ Has been full-time cloth diapered, no sposies ever since July '09
~ Still fits great in her small Pampered Cheeks All-in-Twos
~ Has saved mommy and daddy LOTS of money in the diaper department
~ The first year has only cost about $250
~ Is walking everywhere
~ And climbing EVERYTHING
~ Loves books
~ And balls
~ And babies
~ Thinks her big brother is the greatest thing in the whole entire world
~ Laughs and runs away when you tell her "No"
~ Tattles on her sister all the time
~ Talks a lot
~ Says many words including: mama, daddy, "E", ball, book, baby, bye, what'sat?, hi, papa
~ Will imitate just about anything she hears
~ Thinks talking on the phone is super fun
~ Her side of the conversation consists of, "HI! Hey. Hi."
~ Gives great hugs
~ Loves to be worn
~ Spends lots of days wrapped on mama's back
~ Happily rides in the sling when we're out and about
~ Is so proud when she does something well
~ Claps for herself and says, "YAAAY!"
~ Rarely sits still
~ Is constantly moving and exploring
~ Doesn't nap consistently
~ Some days only for 30 minutes in the afternoon
~ Turns into a pumpkin if she isn't in bed at promptly 8pm
~ Much to her mama's delight she sleeps in until between 8-9am
It's been a fun and eventful first year! We are excited to see what the next year has in store for our little princess!
Elle's adorable Valentine birthday skirt came from Mosspink on Etsy. I made the matching cupcake shirt. Tina at Mosspink does such a great job and has great prices. We've bought 2 skirts and a dress from her. They are only $10 each and she has free shipping!

What a good girl!! I'm so glad that she at least sleeps in for you if she's going to be up all night. :)
You ROCK with cloth diapering...we're not even doing that well. But now that I'm better, that's going to change! :)
