In the clear?

I've been holding out hope and I think maybe just maybe the copious amounts of toxins I soaked the basement and foundation with last year squelched the egg laying of these horrid beasts who invaded our home last fall. Don't get me wrong, we've had a couple, but they seem to be contained to the basement. I've thought, more than once, of the possibility of the very curious Miss Ellenie Grace popping one of the juicy buggers in her mouth for a taste. *gag* Fortunately, there haven't been any in the living areas. I think we're past the invasion window. Like it or not, winter is nearly upon us and then I will be at peace until next year.
