This is a couple days late since we kind of got tied up, but Elle had her first doctor appointment on Wednesday. She measured 18.5" and weighed in at 4lbs 12oz, so just 3oz under her birth weight. They were very pleased with that. She seems to think that eating every hour is the cool thing to do, so Chris is pretty sure she'll be 6lbs by next week, lol. Since she is so little, she needs to go back in a week to be weighed again, so we shall see.Ian and Audrey will FINALLY be coming home from my parent's today and we are so happy to have our whole family together. It's been an exciting but stressful week for all of us. Hopefully next week we can get back to some degree of normalcy. That will be nice.

Wow, she only lost 3 oz? Newborns usually lose more than that. Way to go Ellenie (and Courtney)!!!
Your baby girl is breathtaking. Really beautiful. My sister had a baby last April and named her Ellen.
Just checkng in. I'm still stunned at how beautiful Ellenie is. She is so sweet looking. Pray you are all doing well in your new normal.
